Dear Collective Sci Fi Gods

I would like to make an addition to my previous order (which still remains outstanding!), I would now also like a young Mr Spock.

I promise not to break him.

Yours, boldly going

Prudence

When the house is sold, a full set of Heroes will be appearing on the DVD shelf, so depending on chosen format[1] you can either borrow or come over to watch - I'm not a fan of "new" TV things (jaded? Moi?) particularly if they're universally popular, but at least the first series was exceptionally good.

Being Human got me in a similar way, shame it was only a few episodes. Much slower to get going though, I feel.

[1] I'd planned on getting a "cut price" HD-DVD copy, but they released Blu-ray, and then again it's only a TV show, so perhaps DVDs would make more sense.

Can we make a wall of TVs, and then just geek out with BSG, Heroes, reruns of ST and ST TNG, and perhaps DarkStar, Forbidden Planet, Silent Running and The Day The Earth Stood Still not the remake that doesn't exist on loop? Or maybe dig out the projector...

I need to find the original BSG movie on Laserdisc, I have Buck Rogers and it would complete the 70s scifi setup.

Almost every handheld computer I've had has been called "Ziggy"; I don't actually remember Farscape, and I wasn't a fan of B5 when it came out (though I knew the pilot effects were done with an Amiga). Quantum Leap was brilliant though, partly because I like the idea of time travel as much as space.

I forgot to have a loop of Doctor Who running too...

The poster outside our local cinema is just Spock in Black & white with a Starfleet swoosh. I have to confess it made me (I beleive the accepted term is) *Squeeee*.

Dear Prudence,

You may not have a Young Spock, as you broke the last character we sent you, and we have still to get the stains out of the one before that. You are a wicked young lady, and should be glad we haven't sent you a Worf instead, to teach you the error of your ways.

;)
